In one of the world's vast and serene deserts, where the sands stretch endlessly and the sun bathes the land in golden light, lived Youssef the dragonfly. Known for his jewel-like, colorful wings that glittered under the sun, Youssef had a big dream: to cross the entire desert from east to west, a feat no dragonfly had dared due to strong winds and scarce water. Each morning, Youssef trained, flying over dunes and battling fierce winds under the guidance of his wise friend, Omar the eagle, learning to use hot air currents and find hidden water sources. Finally, the big day arrived, and Youssef, armed with his skills and Omar’s advice, embarked on his arduous journey. Along the way, he discovered many hidden wells, resting and drinking from their fresh waters, realizing the desert's harshness concealed beauty and life. After several grueling days, Youssef triumphantly reached the other side, celebrated by the desert insects, his story inspiring all to achieve the impossible.

Page 3 Alex suggested they visit the Old Wai village. There were many old buildings, and the walls had small holes to see outside. The kids felt like they were in a storybook. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple and saw the statue and ancient bells. Lily asked, “What are those bells for?” The uncle explained, “They are used to pray for safety!” Page 6 The kids decided to have lunch in front of the temple. The uncle shared some traditional snacks with them, and they felt the warmth of Lung Yeuk Tau's culture. Page 7 After lunch, they visited the Song Ling Tang Temple. Sam said, “This place is so interesting! We can learn a lot about history here.” Everyone agreed and felt very happy. Page 8 At the end, the kids took a group photo on the mountain, promising to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau for more adventures. They headed home with wonderful memories. They thought about how courageous Jesus was to completely surrender His life to God. As a result, He made a way for all humanity to be saved from sin by being crucified. John Jr told Jade that Jesus went about with boldness and confidence. John Jr and Jade wanted to be more courageous like Jesus. 2..Jesus taught people not to fear but to be courageous because God is always with them.John Jr and Jade felt comfort in Jesus' teachings and decided to make a list on how to be more courageous. They felt it was courageous to try new things, talk to people they don't know, speaking up, falling down and still keep going, facing difficulties/challenges even when hard. doing things on their own, and being able to face discomfort or pain. John Jr and Jade decided to put those courageous ways into practice 4. Jesus praised John Jr and Jade for being so courageous and told them how pleased God was them.
