Dolphin quickly pulls the net with her nose, freeing her friend. Once safe, Sea Turtle says, "We’re so different, but we make a great team." Dolphin agrees, "Our differences make us stronger." They smile, knowing that true friendship embraces every unique part of who they are.

Before packing their suitcases, John Jr and Yuēhàn looked at some history books to have a better understanding of how Gettysburg battlefield was so important. 2. John Jr gave Yuēhàn some history about the Civil War. The American Civil War was a war between the Union (Northern US States) and the Confederacy (Southern US States) that lasted from 1861-1865. The war was fought over disagreements about slavery, states vs. federal rights, the election of Abraham Lincoln, and the economy. 3. John Jr found some information on the battle of Gettysburg. The Battle of Gettysburg was a three-day battle fought between Union and Confederate forces between July 1 and July 3, 1863, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The battle, which was won by the Union, is widely considered the Civil War's turning point, ending the Confederacy's aspirations to establish an independent nation. It was the Civil War's bloodiest battle, claiming over 50,000 combined casualties over three days. 4. Yuēhàn found some information of the final battle and shared it with John Jr. The Battle of Palmito Ranch took place on May 12–13, 1865, near the Rio Grande in Cameron County, Texas. The battle was fought between Confederate forces under Col. John S. “Rip” Ford and Union forces under Col. Theodore H. Barrett. The battle resulted in a Confederate victory. 5. John. Jr and Yuēhàn finished packing and loaded up the car. They had a wonderful time in Gettysburg and even saw a Civil War reenactment.

Tasha tried to remember the way that her and her mom took but she got lost. she ran into a hill that she went flying down and the bike flipped and she scraped her leg and tears fell down her eyes. eventually her mom finds her and gave her a talk how important following rules were as well as obeying her parents. the take away from the story is rules are set in place to keep her safe.

When she saw a turtle walking slowly, Cici said, "You are not only slow, but also ugly." 3. One day, a butterfly (Lulu) approached Cici. "Outer beauty is not enough, Cici. A good heart is more important," said Lulu wisely. However, Cici only laughed mockingly. "You are just jealous, Lulu. I am perfect!" 4. However, Cici's life changed when the rainy season arrived. The ground became muddy and soggy. When Cici walked, her fur became dirty and no longer looked shiny. No one complimented her beauty anymore. Cici felt ashamed and began to avoid her friends. 5. One afternoon, Cici heard a small voice asking for help. She saw the turtle she had teased before stuck in the mud. Although she was hesitant at first because she was afraid that her fur would get dirtier, Cici finally decided to help. She jumped into the mud and pulled the turtle out with difficulty. 6. The turtle smiled and thanked her. “You may be dirty now, Cici, but your heart shines brighter than ever.” 7. Since then, Cici began to change. She was no longer arrogant about her beauty, but became a friendly and helpful rabbit. And strangely enough, even though her fur was often not as perfect as before, she felt happier because now she was appreciated not for her appearance, but for her kindness.

He is so hurt that he allows his feelings to get the best of him and on christmas eve he leads his reindeers intoa blizzard that caused them to crash. Only santa and rudolph are lost and the others rush back home to tell what happened. Morale of the story is always being present for loved ones and not wait for them to be gone to care.
