Esta es la historia de cuatro primos. Lola y Luis que viven en Leipzig, en Alemania, y Sofía y Antonio que viven en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Un día decidieron viajar los cuatro juntos a Paris. Prometieron volver a encontrarse en Alemania o en Argentina para seguir compartiendo aventuras. Lola prefería ir a Argentina porque ama los caballos.

They were going to America! Mai couldn’t believe it! America was so far away, but she was ready for a new adventure! When they arrived in America, everything was HUGE! The buildings touched the sky, the streets were full of cars, and people spoke a different language. But Mai wasn’t afraid—she made new friends, learned new words, and even found a big playground to play on! Soon, Mai and her family made a happy new home. They kept their traditions, sang their songs, and celebrated with their new neighbors. Mai’s adventure wasn’t over—it was just beginning! Emma laughs and says, "That’s so interesting!" Page 3 They arrive at the old village called Old Wai and see the tall walls. Emma asks, "Why are the walls so thick here?" The teacher replies, "They were built to keep pirates away!" Page 4 The kids see an old well. Alex points and says, "This well was used by villagers for drinking water." Emma looks closely and says, "The well has a metal cover. That’s special!" Page 5 Next, they visit the Tin Hau Temple. Emma is surprised and says, "There are so many statues in the temple!" The teacher explains, "These are the gods that protect the village. We can pray here for blessings." Page 6 In the temple, the kids see two old bronze bells. Emma asks, "What are these bells for?" The teacher says, "People ring the bells to tell the gods and pray for safety." Page 7 Before the trip ends, the kids take pictures on the village path. They agree to come back next time to join the village’s traditional activities and learn more about the culture. Page 8 Back at school, Alex and Emma excitedly share their trip stories. Everyone listens with great interest, looking forward to the day they can explore Lung Yeuk Tau together!
