Until my turn came. A pair of hands gently lifted me, and I panicked. Where were they taking me? Where was Mom? The car drove and drove, the scenery outside kept changing, the smells were different, and my heart pounded hard. When we arrived, I heard a new voice: “Wow… he’s so tiny!” “Yeah, cute, right? Don’t worry, he’ll get used to it.” “But… I’m not sure how to take care of a dog.” My breath shortened. They weren’t sure? What if they didn’t want me? At first, it was tough. They put me in a small crate that didn’t feel like home. At night, it was too quiet, and my stomach tightened with longing. I whimpered softly, hoping Mom would hear me and come… but she didn’t. During the day, they let me run in the big yard. I sniffed every corner, searching for something familiar—but everything was new. And when evening came, and they tried to put me back in the crate… I wouldn’t let them! I ran, dodged, and jumped from side to side. I saw them laughing but also getting tired of chasing me. And little by little, I started to adjust. They loved me. They petted me. They smiled at me. Even her—the one who wasn’t sure at first—one day, she picked me up, looked into my eyes with softness, and whispered, “You’re so sweet.” And then I understood. I was home.

Liam and dada are at dada's apartment and Liam isn't feeling too well. Dada is trying to cheer him up. Dada then asks liam what would make him feel better, and begins to make suggestions, a car, truck, bicycle, boat, etc. and eventually dada suggests and airplane. Liam perks up and says "Yeah! Airplane dada" and dada asks liam what color he'd like his plane to be. Liam reponds with "Blue, airplane. Blue Airplane dada". So dada and liam then go over to dada's computer (dual monitor setup on a black desk. They begin to shop online at amazon until her perfect little blue plane scrolls into view. seen in the attached photo. Dada asks Liam if he like the plane, he says "Yeah" with a big smile on his face. Dada knows exactly what he has to do. He buys the plane after liam is sound asleep, but dada then has a great idea. He hops over to chatgpt to create a book for liam. This is the book. After carefully crafting the book, ordering it, and getting it delivered everything is in place. Dada then reads the book to Liam which ends in him revealing the plane from the story. Then Liam runs around the room flying his brand new blue airplane, smiling and laughing. Dada sits next to Momma (seen in the second attached photo). She smiles and says "Wow, you really did it. Look at him, he's so happy" The end!

In Lala's Lovely Locs, Lala, a young Black girl, is excited but nervous about starting school with her new locs. She’s worried her classmates will tease her, making her feel anxious about standing out. After much hesitation, she goes to class and is surprised to see that her classmates wear all kinds of cool and creative hairstyles, from braids to afros to curls. Olivier dresses up as a tennis super hero, rides a unicorn and holds a bow and arrow. He shoots the dragon in the heart. The dragon turns into a magical baby dragon. Olivier ends up in his backyard by a campfire drinking hot coco while Carine roasts marshmallows for the kids. They tell jokes and laugh. They took the baby dragon home with them as a pet.
