Once upon a time, in a cozy house on Maple Street, lived a golden cavoodle named Archie Bear. Archie had a fluffy coat that gleamed like sunshine and eyes full of curiosity. He was different from his siblings, but he loved life. Archie's best friends and siblings—Bali, Astro, and Pixie—adored him. Bali was tiny and energetic, Pixie was stunning and loving, and Astro was quiet and cuddly. They always included Archie in their fun. One sunny morning, the four pups decided to explore the Enchanted Forest to find a magical pond. Archie was nervous but excited to join. As they walked, Archie noticed things others didn’t—dancing leaves and singing flowers. His siblings loved hearing about his unique view of the world. At the edge of the forest, some squirrels whispered, "Look at that dog! He acts so strange." Archie felt sad, but Bali barked proudly, "Archie is amazing just the way he is!" Astro added, "He's got the best nose for finding cool places!" Pixie said, "Archie sees the world in a special way, and that's wonderful." The squirrels apologized, and Archie smiled, feeling warm inside. His siblings always made him feel loved. Deep in the forest, they found the magical pond, more beautiful than imagined, with sparkling water and glowing flowers. They played, splashing in the cool water and chasing butterflies. Archie felt free and happy. On the way back, the squirrels waved and said, "We hope to see you all again soon, especially you, Archie!" Archie wagged his tail, feeling accepted and happy. He knew that even though he might be different, he was just as deserving of love and friendship as anyone else. At home, tired but joyful, Archie knew that being different was something to celebrate. She felt a mix of happy and nervous on her first day at a new school. In the school, Ellie met two nice kids named Tara and Colin. They smiled at Ellie and became her friends. They showed her around, played games together, and sat together at lunchtime. Ellie felt glad to have them as friends. But not everything was happy for Ellie. Two girls, Ashley and Jane, didn’t like Ellie because she talked a bit differently. They said mean things and laughed at her. Ellie felt sad and left out.

The mouse knew the voice and quickly found the lion struggling in the net. 4.Running to one of the great ropes that bound him, she gnawed it until it parted, and soon the lion was free. “You laughed when I said I would repay you,” said the mouse. “Now you see that even a mouse can help a lion.”

Page 1 Xiaoming and Xiaohua joined a special tour. Their destination was Lung Yeuk Tau, a place full of history and beautiful scenery. Page 2 They got on the bus, excitedly looking at the view outside. The tour guide told them that there is a mountain shaped like a dragon jumping! Page 3 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, Xiaoming and Xiaohua first visited the old village called Lo Wai. The tall walls and narrow gate made them feel curious. Page 4 The guide told them stories about Lo Wai. In the past, villagers built these defenses to protect against pirates, making them feel very safe. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple. Inside the temple were beautiful statues, and there were two ancient bronze bells used for praying for safety. Page 6 Xiaohua was especially interested in the stories about the Tin Hau Temple. She learned that villagers would take the statues out to parade during Tin Hau's birthday. Page 7 Finally, they visited the Songling Tang Kung Ancestral Hall. Xiaoming was amazed by the architecture and heard the touching story of Tang Songling. Page 8 At the end of the trip, Xiaoming and Xiaohua felt that this journey was very special. They hoped to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau one day to explore more stories!

At the top Jens yells “I did it!” Jumps up and down and Lex says “Oh that’s why you let us do hard things.” 🥲" I could go on and on about how amazing Ava is as a nanny and what a blessing she is to raising my little men, and she is SUCH a huge blessing and incredible woman, but instead I can't help but see the parallel of that story and the role God has in our lives. I can't tell you how often I wish my lifelong trial would be over and how often I literally ask God why he is making me go through all this pain even I KNOW he could take it away... Then I remember the little and big wins along the way and the things I have learned and gained because of pain I am constantly in. God absolutely tells me where to step, but I haven't ever experienced the feeling of him completely lifting me to the top of the playground. I feel him watching me and cheering me along. Then I do something impossible and I jump up and down with joy saying "I did it!" and I know he's so proud of me. And just like little Lex I think to myself, "Oh that’s why you let us do hard things." Let's not forget to let God guide us. Thank God for the miracles we experience every day
