As I laid my head down, someone came zipping through the door. I heard a voice say, "Can I adopt that beautiful dog with those big brown eyes? I really think she is the perfect size." I ran to her with a steady pace, wagging my tail all over the place! My name is Pinto, like the bean, and I now have my forever home... it’s like a dream. A kind young woman named Maddy came along and brought me home—where I belong.

The story begins with Jax playing on the sandy shore, building sandcastles and collecting seashells. His parents are nearby, watching him with smiles as he laughs and explores. A shy octopus who shows Jax how to change colors and hide in the sand. A group of dolphins who perform flips and tricks, making Jax laugh. Ollie takes Jax to a special underwater cave where all the sea creatures are having a party. There’s music (made by singing whales and clapping crabs), dancing, and even a seaweed cake! Jax is the guest of honor, and everyone celebrates his bravery and curiosity. As the sun begins to set, Ollie tells Jax it’s time to return to the shore. Jax says goodbye to his new friends, promising to visit again someday. Ollie swims him back to the beach, where Jax’s parents are waiting. When Jax looks back at the ocean, he sees Ollie’s fin waving goodbye. Jax runs to his parents, excitedly telling them about his adventure. They smile and listen, even though they think he’s just imagining things. But Jax knows it was real—he still has the magical seashell necklace as a reminder.

The main theme in The Birth of Tragedy is that the fusion of Dionysian and Apollonian Kunsttriebe ("artistic impulses") forms dramatic arts or tragedies. He argued that this fusion has not been achieved since the ancient Greek tragedians. Apollo represents harmony, progress, clarity, logic and the principle of individuation, whereas Dionysus represents disorder, intoxication, emotion, ecstasy and unity (hence the omission of the principle of individuation). Nietzsche used these two forces because, for him, the world of mind and order on one side, and passion and chaos on the other, formed principles that were fundamental to the Greek culture: the Apollonian a dreaming state, full of illusions; and Dionysian a state of intoxication, representing the liberations of instinct and dissolution of boundaries. In this mould, a man appears as the satyr. Harvey felt so empowered and understood what Nietzsche meant; life is full of suffering and chaos and hard work and that's where we should find enjoyment and happiness by valuing what is most worth to us.
