Though Lorena loves Andres as her own child, she struggles with her own challenges—her son, Camilo, is seriously ill and needs medical attention, but the Rodríguez family remains indifferent to their plight. One night, after a troubling conversation with Andres about his parents’ neglect, Lorena and Andres discover something strange. A mysterious girl, pale and dressed in tattered clothes, appears with a flickering candle, lifting the wooden floorboards and pouring something into a hidden hole beneath the floor. As the girl leaves, she leaves the candle behind. The next night, they return to investigate and find gold coins buried beneath the floor. Lorena’s need to help Camilo leads her to take the coins, paying for medical care. With each night, the temptation to take more grows, until the hole becomes a siren call, drawing them back for more. On the eighth night, as Andres reaches for the coins, he falls into the hole, and Lorena drops the candle, plunging them into darkness. When she relights the candle, the hole has vanished, and both she and Andres are gone. The mansion remains empty, and when workers investigate, they find Andres’s body surrounded by the gold coins. The mansion is said to be cursed, and its eerie silence continues to haunt those who pass by. The mansion still stands in Canaima, abandoned and surrounded by mystery. If you listen closely at night, you might hear a faint voice calling for help: "Please, someone save me... help me..."

In a flash, Max dashed through the jungle, but Ellie was quick. She caught him and locked him inside a sturdy cage at the jungle’s jail. Max sat in the cage, feeling a little scared and guilty. But, being the clever monkey he was, he didn’t stay down for long. As he looked around, he noticed something special in his pocket – a single, ripe banana. It seemed small, but Max had an idea. “I may be locked up, but I won’t give up,” he thought, smiling slyly. With his sharp teeth, he quickly peeled the banana and used the peel to carefully slip through the small cracks of the cage. It took time, but Max was patient. Finally, with a little wiggle and a lot of determination, Max managed to break free! As Max scampered out of the cage, he heard Ellie approaching, but by then, he was already far away, laughing at his own cleverness. He learned a valuable lesson that day. No matter how tough life gets, there’s always a way out if you don’t give up. The Moral of the Story: Never give up, even when things seem impossible. With clever thinking and determination, you can always find a way to overcome challenges.

And during that time, Cici and Lulu did not leave Kiki. On the third day, Kiki had recovered. Kiki had started to walk normally and laugh. 6.
