He told Samuel, “Say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.’” Page 8 Samuel listened, and God spoke to him. From that night on, Samuel became a great prophet, guiding Israel and teaching them to follow God. Page 9 Hannah’s faith and promise led to Samuel becoming one of the greatest leaders of Israel. And through it all, she was thankful, knowing that God had answered her prayer. Page 10 “For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my request.” – 1 Samuel 1:27
